A poolside pause
The photographs begin with the setting: flowers at the edge of the pool, small lights tracing the water, and warm string lights above the gathering. Guests rest on floaters under blankets while others sit together beside the pool. These are photographs of our actual gathering, a record of how the space looked that evening.
The details are simple—a blanket, a cushion, the glow of a candle—but they help tell the story of an evening built around being present. Looking back, we wanted to give those small moments as much space as the wider scenes.

Listening, playing, and gathering
Our photo collection moves between live music and shared participation. A guitar, hand drums, hanging chimes, and small percussion instruments appear throughout the evening. Some frames focus on listening; others show guests holding drums and sitting together in a circle.
That movement between receiving sound and making it together is part of what we want to keep exploring at The Sanctuary. The circle gives those two parts of the evening a shared setting: a place to listen, join in, and spend time with one another.

The moments between the music
There are quieter social moments too: people holding cups, talking beneath the lights, and spending time together by the pool. Alongside the instruments and water, those conversations are part of the record we want to keep.
We have selected different photographs across the website so that each section offers another view of the gathering. The image accompanying this story draws attention to the flowers and candlelight, with the pool beyond. Thank you to everyone who joined us and became part of this evening.
